About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that transform data into meaningful insights. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver dashboards and analytics that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and BI solutions.
- Build and maintain data models, queries, and ETL processes to support reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy,consistency, and integrity across BI platforms.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to optimize data workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI systems and performance issues.
- Document BI processes, data definitions, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in BI development or data analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL concepts.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of BI reports.
